For anyone who simply wants to know if this is the current theatrical version, like myself–it’s not. It’s the same as the 10th Anniversary Edition, with the stuff from the cutting room floor thrown relieve into the movie, instead of in Bonus Features where it belongs. I’m so thankful I collected have the oringinal release that I cherish on video.
This review refers to the Special 10th Anniversary DVD Edition(Touchstone) of “Exquisite Woman”…

There are a couple of reasons why you may want to go with this “Special” edition of this charming and very novel update of the classic “Cinderella” record. The first is that at this time, the novel edition seems to be unavailable, except from the outside sellers with prices higher then this one. The second reason is the improbable music video with Natalie Cole doing one of the best songs from the film, “Wild Women Do”. Other then that, I did not get anything really “special” about this “special” edition.
Here’s what you derive…A “Leisurely the Scenes” featurette, which runs a couple of minutes and is unbiased some footage of Geer, Roberts and Marshall, getting ready to shoot a scene at the Polo game with the “Splendid Woman” music playing in the background. There is a very short production featurette, and except for Garry Marshall telling us what the film is about, appeared to be nothing worthy more than a long trailer. There is also the option of Director commentary, which may be viewed during the film, and the film is in widescreen, but both of these features are also available on the unique release.
Buy,Download, Or Stream Pretty Woman! Click Here
There is also some extra footage. An added scene where Vivian takes Edward relieve to her stomping grounds so she can check on Kit, and the two are confronted by drug dealers hardly seemed distinguished. As a matter of fact it seemed to detract from the fable, as it too soon takes the audience benefit out Vivian’s fairy memoir world we have entered briefly.
As far as the film itself, I tranquil adore it 15 years after it’s fresh release. Wonderfully directed by Garry Marshall, it’s a feel obliging film, and a amazing appreciate sage that makes you feel you can fulfill your dreams. A expansive soundtrack, and the proper cast including Laura San Giacomo(she was a broad Kit), Jason Alexander, Hector Elizondo, Elinor Donahue, and tale Ralph Bellamy, all develop this a very special film all on it’s fill.
The DVD presents a very nice describe in widescreen, and suited sound in Dolby surround. There are nice captions in English for those needing them, but no other subtitles. The note is actually sparkling decent for a “special” edition, unprejudiced don’t rob it expecting a ton of extra goodies.

Sequels passe to be about remaking the same film again and again (remember “Friday The 13th” or “Nightmare on Elm Street”? ) with minor variations so the audience gets their fix. John Carpenter, Kurt Russell and Debra Hill inverted the paradigmn reprising the best elements from “Run from Recent York” while introducing a heavy dose of satire aimed squarely at the Honest Majority and groups of that nature. While not as memorable as that film, “Rush from L. A.” takes perfect aim at liberal Hollywood, the conservative religious legal, sequels and skewers them all lifeless on most of the time.

Snake Plissken is attend in concern. Captured again he’s establish into the service of national security against his will. It seems a map that can detonate orbital nuclear devices has been stolen by the President’s daughter and delivered into the hands of a self styled rebel leader named Cuervo Jones (George Corraface) in what’s left of Southern California. Cuervo plans on using this intention against the United States. Plissken is sent to the island of Los Angeles to retreive the draw. Yes, folks the Tremendous ONE finally hit and a stout portion of the Los Angeles basin dropped into the ocean like a ten ton weight while the remainder floats off the fly of the United States making the perfect residence to deport people who don’t have high apt fiber or generally tick off the President for life (Cliff Robertson in a curved performance) . Infected by a deadly designer virus that makes Ebola seem like the flu, Snake has no choice but to assume the job of retrieving. Malloy (Stacy Keach stepping in for the tedious Lee Van Cleef) and Brazen (the magnificent Michelle Forbes unhurried of “Star Trek: The Next Generation”, “Homicide: Life on the Streets” and the second season of “24″) provide Snake with his only link to the outside world.
Along the blueprint Snake meets surfers (Peter Fonda), the Surgeon General of Beverly Hills (Bruce Campbell in a hilarious role that truly is the highlight of the movie) in pursuit of the method. Oh and once again Snake has one of those immense digital watches attached to his wrist to remind him his days are numbered if he doesn’t gain the map succor in time. Filled with broad cameos by Steve Buscemi (as Arrangement to the Stars Eddie), B-movie queen Pam Grier (as Hershe Las Palmas), Italian beauty Valerie Golino, the gradual Paul Bartel, Issac Hayes (in a cameo) and Robert Carradine “Elope from L.A.” honest might be Carpenter’s most undervalued film (along with the large satire “They Live”) .
Buy,Download, Or Stream Escape from L.A.! Click Here
The weakest link in the film turns out to be the uneven visual effects done by Disney’s Buena Vista Visual Effects. Some of the opticals explore stout particularly the scenes where Los Angeles gets hit by the 9.6 earthquake. The sequences captivating the mini-sub and some of the helicopters peer as if they were taken from computer games. While computer graphics were mild developing at the time, I’m surprised that Disney’s effects house wasn’t able to reach up with more convincing visuals for this sequence. Peaceful, while they aren’t what they could be they’re not the focus of the memoir either and are a radiant minor quandary. Many of the best effects work quite well. The production do by Lawrence G. Paull (”Blade Runner”, “Help to the Future”, “Predator 2″) gives the film a powerful bigger spy than the budget the film had (it cost roughly $50 million to gain including the marketing share of the budget) . A bit of trivia about the film. Russell appears wearing the same costume he had for the first film at the beginning. Russell also made all the basketball shots seen in the climatic game himself.
Presented in its fresh widescreen format with a trailer as the only extra, this was released when Paramount was playing gain up in releasing product for the DVD market. The image quality is exceptionally great with titanic color reproduction and a nearly flawless print (particularly when compared to the remastered re-release of “Race from Unique York”) with a nice 5.1 sound mix.
It’s too poor this hasn’t been reissued with extras (such as a commentary from Carpenter and Russell and one or two featurettes. Heck, there’s got to be a promo section somewhere in Paramount’s vault about this as I seem to remember one being released to promote it) because, while isn’t quite up to “Elope from Modern York”, “Elope from L.A.” is detached a memorable sequel with enough satire, parody and humor laced moments to preserve fans of the new overjoyed. Hopefully one of these days this minor Carpenter classic will gather the re-evaluation it deserves.
When I first saw this film in the theaters, I really didn’t like it. In fact, I was resplendent let down! I had grown up with Dash From Modern York, and to my apprehension, John Carpenter remade his possess film! I’m not kidding, REMADE it. Accurate down to Snake getting shot in the leg and limping for the last half of the film. Years later I revaluated my plan. You can’t perform a film as corny as this on accident, especially if you’re a extinct director like John Carpenter; It had to be done on purpose. I’ve read numerous interviews over the years and have found out two things, and I consider these two things are the reason this film ended up the procedure it did. First, John Carpenter hates sequels. He never wanted to originate sequels to his films. He never wanted a sequel to Halloween(let alone six! That’s why he produced Halloween 3 which people hated so distinguished, coz he was trying to acquire this series in a different direction and not retread the whole Michael Myers thing) . I also understand that both Carpenter and Kurt Russell were under alot of studio pressure to invent this film. I don’t know what kind of favor Carpenter owed the studio, but he made this film. And my theory is that he made this film intentionally dreadful to say to the studio, “There, I made the stinking sequel you wanted, don’t ask me to do it again!” I mean really, if he had wanted to compose a sequel to Rush From Current York, don’t you contemplate he would have struck while the iron was hot and made it at the height of the first film’s success instead of waiting 15 years? Assume about it. When I assume this scenario, I can peep Hasten From L.A and have a capable laugh thinking that John Carpenter may have played a broad joke on the Hollywood studios. Really, there’s no method Carpenter included that surfing scene with the scheme of it being taken seriously. The film is objective blueprint too overblown, method too cheesy and obviously a carbon copy of the novel to be anything other than a joke. Kurt may be older now, but he’s actually smooth able to play Snake Plissken like it’s 1980. The performance is large, it’s unprejudiced the film surrounding Kurt that’s amusing. Try watching it again and look what you deem.

Yoga for Stress Relief Movie Streaming.
Movie Title: Yoga for Stress Relief Yoga for Stress Relief is available for streaming or downloading. |
This is an extremely versatile DVD by well-known yoga instructor Barbara Benagh. She has combined short posture segments into a series of 20 different practices addressing a variety of stress-related conditions, from energizing after a long day to coping with aches and inconvenience to relieving various digestive conditions. The practices, which are slow-moving with a mostly restorative focus, range in length from 15 to 60 minutes, making it easy to fit yoga into even your busiest days. Barbara frequently uses props; in addition to a yoga mat, I would recommend that you have at least one blanket on hand (preferably 2-3), with pillows and an gaze bag being optional.

A breakdown of the DVD is listed below. The headings are the items found on the main menu, and the bullets point to submenu items. The times for each practice are given as they appear on-screen, but I’ve added times in parentheses based on my hold review. I’ve included brief notes on some of the practices that I have already tried; I notion to edit this review with additional notes as I spend more of the huge material on this DVD.

Overall, this is an superior yoga DVD well-suited to a wide range of practitioners, from those fairly original to yoga to more experienced yoginis like myself. Highly recommended!
I have to confess I had become a lapsed Hatha Yogini. After years of practice, a few intervening accidents and life intervened and my Hatha Yoga practice was sacrificed in the caldron of daily life.
While I was aware of my body bewitching the toxins of people’s gross attitudes, violence on TV and in the newspaper, etc, I chose to persist in the exingencies of my work and studies ignoring the calls of my ailing body.
In that my work and seek centers around stress relief and I am a student of the Dalai Lama, I decided to check out this video.
In my experience this is one of the best yoga videos among the now 1,055 yoga videos now listed on Amazon. It combines meditation instructions from the DVD A Path to Happiness by the Dalai Lama and a host of stress relief combinations from gentle awakening to more vigorous awakening to working on what malady our bodies are using to signal us that we are out of balance.
The instructions are distinct and concise without undue explanation. (For students who ogle more concept of the poses, the videos of Rodney Yee, Patricia Walden, John Friend and many others are out there.)
The instructions are for the average person. There are no Sanskrit names. There is gracious attention to noble alignment, appropriate focus and attention and consume of props. Her breathing instructions are the best that I have heard from any yoga instuctor.
As I practiced these routines I could literally feel toxins proceed, my stiffness commence to leave and my “energy” straggle more freely.
This is the video of a seasoned Hatha Yoga instructor and practioner and yoga practioner. If you want to learn complex advanced poses and their Sanskrit names, don’t seize this video. If you want to detoxify, and restore balance to your life, this is the video for you.

MI-5 (or Spooks, its recent title) is a long running, award winning British examine series that has enjoyed continued success in Britain and abroad. In the US however, A&E, PBS and BBCA have tried broadcasting the series (seasons 1-4) to universally disappointing ratings. It is no straggle though: in order to accommodate commercials, each fresh episode was mercilessly prick down by a quarter of its running time (from 59 min to 45 min!!!), making it virtually incomprehensible. Thankfully, we have DVD’s and can indulge in the series as it was intended! ;o)

Another salubrious news is that Season 7 is the best yet and can be easily followed even without the wait on of the prior six seasons. In episode one we are introduced to a unique character, Lucas North, a senior case officer released in a Russian-British contemplate exchange after eight years in a Russian prison. His chronicle arcs thru entire season 7, though most episodes are self enclosed and deal with subplots relevant to today’s viewer. We have nuclear attacks, bank collapse, and the thread of internal espionage (after eight years in Russia, to whom is Lucas really sincere? ) .
In addition to helpful writing, the series offers inspired casting in lead, supporting and visiting star roles. Mathew Macfayden (Pride and Prejudice), Rupert Penry Jones (Persuasion), Gemma Jones (Bridget Jones Diary), Hugh Laurie (House), Anthony Head (Buffy the Vampire Slayer) are only a few examples. In season 7, the splendid Richard Armitage (Robin Hood, North and South) is Lucas North. It is this actor’s charisma as well as the return to Russians as the proper and tried “awful guys” that brings unusual interest to the series.

Interestingly, even though the release date in the US is calm unsafe, the status has been available in Australia (Status 4) since April, and will be released in the UK (Space 2) in October. If you want instant gratification (don’t we all? ), all you need is a site free DVD player.
Enjoy!
BTW: MI-5 is the British Security Service, the equivalent of FBI in the US, I notify.
Just finished watching Season 7 (purchased from Amazon UK) and it was so honorable, every small was packed with so worthy tension you really cannot turn away.
If you cannot wait for the US release acquire a area free player (search on Amazon for one, I employ the Philips that cost ~50.00 and it tremendous) and rep this dvd, yu will not regret it.

Up Movie Streaming.
Movie Title: Up Up is available for streaming or downloading. |
Here’s a movie for dog lovers, the elderly, children of divorce, FOBs (Friends of Birds), ragged Boy Scouts, people yearning for adventure, and anyone who has ever loved… and lost. Up is for everyone. It made me laugh out loud, and it made me wail.
Buy,Download, Or Stream Up! Click Here
I view it would be tough for Up to match the emotional power of Wall-E. The two Pixar films are similar in their lack of dialogue in the first act, which helps deepen the emotional impact. Up begins with Carl, a apprehensive young boy star-struck by a distinguished explorer; and kookie Ellie, who has a similar obsession. The two kids become mercurial friends, and train to one day go to Venezuela’s Paradise Falls. After getting married, they select their dream home and fix it up, hoping to bear it with children. Carl and Ellie’s life together from childhood through frail age is depicted, silently, with delicacy and subtlety. The first 15 minutes is like a celebration of a delighted marriage, and you truly feel Carl’s injure when he is left alone. He sits slumped in his chair, talking to the house as if it is the missing Ellie.
When developers end in on Carl’s beloved home, he decides to fulfill his promise to Ellie and recede to Paradise Falls. A veteran balloon vendor, Carl lifts his home with hundreds of vivid balloons. Stowing away on the porch is Russell, a bulky, audacious kid trying to win a scouting badge.
Buy,Download, Or Stream Up! Click Here
After landing in Paradise Falls, the veteran man and the minute boy are joined by a golden retriever named Dug who can talk with his collar, and a titanic rare bird that bonds with Russell (he names her “Kevin”) . Dug is priceless: spot-on for every dog that ever lived, including an obsession with squirrels. Through a series of end calls and adventures, the quartet vanquishes a villain, saving the day. And Russell earns his scouting badge.
In the process, Carl learns to let go of his shaded mourning for Ellie, and live life again. When this happens, a truly magical thing happens. Before, Carl’s craggy face is gray and monochromatic. At the moment of his transformation, Carl’s face is awash in color, and he is surrounded by aesthetic hues. It reminded me of The Wizard of Oz, when Dorothy steps out of her gray world and into a candy-colored Munchkinland. Carl, too, enters a whole fresh world.
Up is a deeply emotional film, fat of truth. It’s the year’s best film. Catch another triumph for Pixar.
Someday, Pixar is going to do it — they’re going to effect an emotionally uninspiring, lackluster spirited movie. But in the meantime, they’re calm putting out luscious racy movies like “Up,” which defies the usual kid-movie conventions by starring a crotchety primitive man. It’s a charming, fun cramped adventure sage with flying dogs and balloon-powered houses, but underlying it is a bittersweet shrimp fable about loss and savor.
As a child, the terrorized Carl Fredricksen bonded with the oddball Ellie over their shared care for of adventure, the explorer Charles Muntz, and Paradise Falls. They later married, disappear into their “clubhouse” together, and lived a long, sadly childless life together. When Ellie died, she had never fulfilled her dream of going to Paradise Falls.
Now crotchety, alone and harassed by a dependable estate developer, Carl (Ed Asner) is finally ordered to a retirement home. But he isn’t going quietly — instead he attaches thousands of balloons to his house and floats it away toward South America. But he accidentally takes an involved, naive Wilderness Explorer (a thinly-veiled Boy Scout) named Russell (Jordan Nagai) along for the dawdle. Terrible kid was objective trying to gather an “assisting the elderly” badge.
And the jungle amble to Paradise Falls turns out to have some surprising obstacles: a vast emulike bird that Russell names Kevin, a talking dog named Dug (”I am jumping on you, bird!”), and a mysterious musty man who lives deep in the heart of the jungle. Turns out the faded guy is very familiar to Carl — and to purchase Kevin, he’s willing to sacrifice Carl and Russell.
Industry experts were babbling about how “Up” wouldn’t be as well-liked as the previous Pixar movies, because the protagonist is basically a crusty obsolete coot. Well, shows what they know. It ended up becoming one of those classic movies that somehow appeals to all ages — while the humor and action appeal to children, adults can relish Carl’s appreciate for his lost wife, and his unimaginative realization that he’s clinging to the past.
In fact, the first ten minutes are some of the most heart-tugging, quietly bittersweet scenes I’ve seen in a long time. Without a word, they display all the ups and downs of a realistic marriage — joys, sorrows (Ellie’s inability to have children), growing dilapidated together, and finally loss.
But it’s not a depressing movie by any stretch — in fact, it’s like a childhood fantasy reach to life, complete with a floating house suspended on hundreds of balloons, and biplanes piloted by a talking dog army.. Plenty of vast dialogue (”Do you want to play a game? It’s called Peek Who Can Go the Longest Without Saying Anything.” “Chilly! My mom loves that game!”) and an action-packed climax in an conventional airship.
Ed Asner is absolutely perfect as ubergrouch Carl — crotchety, grumpy, and definite to fulfill his wife’s lifelong dream, but gradually realizing he’s clinging to the past. Nagai is equally perfect as Carl’s polar opposite: a naive, chattery Scout who is clear to reunite Kevin with her baby chicks. And the utterly adorable Dug and the other dogs deserve special behold. These creatures are utterly hilarious — they talk (”I hid under your porch because I fancy you”) and act the plan dogs would if they talked. Three words: cone of shame.
The two-disc edition is going to have some very nice extras, but once again people with regular-def DVDs are going to bag shafted because the Blu-ray edition will have a bunch of irregular stuff. Grr. As for this one, there’s a digital copy, the director’s audio commentary, kinda-alternate-ending “The Many Endings of Muntz,” and the documentary “Adventure Is Out There” about the research for this movie.
There are also a pair of adorable attractive shorts. “Partly Cloudy” has a much-abused stork having to mutter potentially immoral baby creatures from a kind but clueless cloud. And “Dug’s Special Mission” is a sort of backstory for the adorable Dug, explaining what the heck he was doing before he met up with Carl and Russell.
“Up” continues Pixar’s running tally of gloriously sharp, emotionally layered movies that the entire family can indulge in. With that, I have only one more thing to say… SQUIRREL!

It’s getting a release…but not a sterling release. More than 8 minutes have been crop from the beginning of the film (according to dvdverdict) . This isn’t the result of residence conversion. They were sever. No explanation. Please send a message to the hacks at Lionsgate and refrain from purchasing this travesty. What a tremendous film being so sorely treated. You would judge the idiotic hide art would be sufficient insult to Huston’s final masterpiece.
Do not remove this video if you do not bask in movies made with delicacy and wistful unfortunate — it is short, has no trusty position and features no special effects. Yet this movie stands as one of the best ever — it weaves a spell over you, and captivates your every sense. We are treated to the visual trimmings of a holiday feast, along with the Irish folk music that will, objective when you least interrogate it, turn your expectations upside down. The provocative characterizations of every player in this movie bring it to lustrous life; it’s as if you have entered a Christmas card, and can taste, smell and feel everything around you. That James Joyce’s account revolves essentially around a simple, but devastating revelation, is what makes it luminous. So many times in this movie the distinct gives diagram to more specific visions: as one of the many, many shining ladies speaks at her party, we are brought inside a bedroom, where we linger with the camera on objects — narrate frames, combs, etc., that spark the imagination and underscore the proceedings with a singluar clarity. Angelica Huston is magically compelling, and the final monologue, delivered with subtle power, will haunt your memory.

I’m peaceful shapely current to this wide fresh world of anime, so I can’t really compare Memories to other works in the genre. I can say that it is a most tantalizing and impressive production made up of three very different short films from some of the leading names in anime. I don’t deem the visuals are quite as sparkling as that of more unusual anime films, but the artistry of these three episodes certainly does attend elaborate the very different worlds in which the action takes residence and demonstrates the compelling, visceral powers of anime. We have the distinguished Katsuhiro Otomo to thank for this project; each of the three films, if I’m not unsuitable, was adapted from a short manga section in Otomo’s graphic new Memories.
Buy,Download, Or Stream Katsuhiro Otomo Presents: Memories! Click Here
Episode One is Magnetic Rose, directed by Koji Morimoto of Animatrix fame. This is a lovely, haunting chronicle of a most new site rescue mission. The crew of a place garbage collection ship responds to a damage signal from a dumb fragment of dwelling. Two crew members board the debris-shrouded vessel and enter a completely different world, one fueled by the memories of a pleasing young opera singer who apparently retreated to the isolation of status following a tragedy in her life. I won’t pretend to have understood every thing about this tale, but it is wholly spicy. The men encounter lavish rooms including opera houses and living quarters fit for a princess, holograms and other visual artifacts of “the young Madam” Eva challenging guests and audiences, and decayed artifacts that sometimes arrive to life in front of their eyes. Each man is soon drawn into the radiant, radiant world of Eva’s memories, but only one recognizes the unreality late the luminous scenes he encounters – in his case, though, memories of his gain wife and child support as fuel for the increasingly realistic episodes he experiences. Grand of the epic takes area to a soundtrack of gorgeous opera music such as that of Puccini, and the combination of such gigantic music and the astonishing visual miracles that account for anime of the highest caliber originate this a most remarkable film indeed.
Episode Two, Stink Bomb from director Tensai Okamura, goes in a completely different direction. Existing in some nebulous spot between dusky comedy and grim political satire, Stink Bomb is certainly enchanting but grand less much than the other two films. In this myth, a young scientific researcher takes an experimental fever pill that turns out to be something else entirely. He awakes to secure everyone in the building comatose or wearisome (it’s never really certain to me), and stunned company executives order him to acquire the pills and the secret documentation related to them so that he can bring everything to them in Tokyo immediately. He does impartial that, but he comes across death and destruction everywhere he goes. He does not understand that he has become a biological weapon emanating deadly gas from within his hold body. It’s almost funny to explore the military firepower brought to absorb – quite fruitlessly – against him as the military seeks to end the spread of the bad gas. The ending is also somewhat droll, on a sunless level.
Buy,Download, Or Stream Katsuhiro Otomo Presents: Memories! Click Here
The last and shortest of the films comes from Katsuhiro Otomo himself. Cannon Fodder is an extremely dusky film that vividly portrays a day in the life of a militaristic society along the lines of a post-modern day Prussia (i.e., pointy helmets are titanic in this world) dedicated solely and completely to the continued firing of colossal cannons against some nebulous enemy. The certain interpretation is one of the insanity of warfare, and the dim tones and grimly drawn characters bring the message home in a worthy fashion. Interestingly, the entire action seems to consist of one continuous shot that moves fluidly from one scene to another.
Memories dates relieve to 1995, but it is certainly an impressive example of anime’s original strengths and possibilities. The music, I should mention, plays an integral role in each film, especially Magnetic Rose – I assume this DVD is worth owning unbiased for this first astonishing film alone. Otomo, Morimoto, and Okamuro are the same masters of anime who gave the world such wonders as Akira, Animatrix, and Ghost in the Shell, so anime newbies can rest assured that Memories will not disappoint.
I first saw a trailer for “Memories” in 1996 while watching “Sabrina” at a theater in Nagasaki. I opinion the bits of animation shown, along with the music were improbable and I was encourage in a theater when it came out. I’ve seen it several times since and I level-headed regard it as one of the better anime films out there. Top rate animation, a unbelievable collect – I highly recommend trying to get the Victor Japan 1 1/2 disc unusual soundtrack (comprised of one elephantine sized CD and a CD single sized disc 2, in some really cold packaging) – and titanic stories. The animation style of the three, like the different stories, are all different. Magnetic Rose is my current, and some of the imagery, paired with the haunting music (combining electronic music with Puccini arias and choral works), have had a lasting conclude. Stink Bomb, touching on biological/chemical warefare as well as the military, is fair damned laughable, and even more relevant in today’s modern global climate. The final installment, Cannon Fodder, by Otomo-san, is the most unusual, both in terms of the animation style/character perform and in the record. There is a peculiar “child’s sage” feel mixed with a Pink Floyd’s “The Wall” vibe.

I am honest really mad that this is finally out on Dwelling 1 DVD. This is a work of anime that is definitely more accessible to mainstream audiences (especially those who detest the great, “saucer-eyed” style of anime) . I am ecstatic that I resisted buying the grand more expensive Place 2 status. And did I mention how gargantuan the music is?

It is a shame that it seems this holiday season so many studios are impartial double-dipping previously released material. Abbott and Costello are probably worthwhile purchases because, as someone else has already pointed out, the previous collections were on double-sided discs. However, this does seem to afflict the proper fan who bought those double-sided disc collections by making them bewitch the same films yet again in order to win something that will last long term. The following is the press release for this residence, which indicates that 1943’s “It Ain’t Hay” will be the only film in this position that is a current release.

A lot of people who are trashing Universal about this superb release simply don’t know what they’re talking about:
1.) For starters, you have to know that when Universal originally released their other 4 volumes of Abbott & Costello on DVD, the movie IT AIN’T HAY was unable to be included due to rights issues and so it was not able to be included. Now this quandary has been rectified.
2.) At the time of the other 4 Volumes of A&C, Universal was foolishly trying out a double-sided DVD technology called “DVD-18″. As a result, many people who bought the obsolete DVDs complained of all sorts of random issues like skipping and relate freezing. So if there is ever a bone to win with Universal, it was because they were experimenting with those earlier DVD-18s. This Current Spot is remarkable more sterling and durable, since it’s going to be issued in tried-and-true “DVD-9″ single-sided format, which is great better quality all around.
3.) Somebody complained that there were several movies missing from this collection. No, there are NOT any UNIVERSAL features missing here. The titles he’s thinking of are films that were RELEASD BY OTHER STUDIOS, (SUCH AS MGM) . This box plot is purely all of Abbott and Costello’s UNIVERSAL films.
Well, that’s it for now. It may be a wound in the neck for some to double-dip, but at least Universal has corrected the earlier double-sided disc catastrophe (they probably meant well with the faded sets, but it turned out to be a unsuitable technonogy) . And now they’ve cleared the rights to IT AIN’T HAY, where they couldn’t release it previously. And to their credit they’ve compensated fans by adding MORE Fresh EXTRA FEATURES to this space.
If there’s one thing Universal could do legal by the fans who feel they’re being “gypped”, they might deem releasing IT AIN’T HAY separately at a later date, as a “stand-alone” catch for those buyers who decide to stubbornly hang onto their noxious double-sided DVD-18 volumes.
This is a Unbelievable release and a colossal deal – thanks to Universal!
